If there were one fridge per person, and everyone opened their fridge?
What you are not putting into account in the energy used to make the inside of a fridge cool. It expels heat from inside the closed, insulated chest and dissipates it into the atmosphere. You dont get something from nothing, something has been transferred in the prosses. The working being done by the fridge, in itself, is actually wasting energy and raising the global temp.
